This WWW site is dedicated to the video arcade games manufactured by the Italian company Zaccaria. Zaccaria was found by three brothers (Marino, Franco, & Natale, hence the “ZZZ”/“MFN” logo) and managed by one of the brothers, Marino Zaccaria. After starting out managing a bar near Bologna, Zaccaria opened a factory in Bologna in to began manufacturing pinball arcade games. At their height Zaccaria was the 3rd largest manufacturer of pinball machines in the world (behind Bally & Williams). In the late 1970’s, Zaccaria diversified into the video arcade game business, licensing games and developing a few in house games that they manufactured with their own artwork in their own distinctive cabinets. In the late 1980’s, facing bankruptcy, the Bologna factory was sold and Zaccaria was restructured/reorganized into a new company, Tecnoplay, that is still in business today managed by Mauro Zaccaria, the son of the original founder Marino Zaccaria.
